Last week Paul asked, nay, dared me to make him a hat just like Jayne Cobb from the good ship Serenity. So I did.



Booyah! It may look like an idiotic hat but that's how it's supposed to look like anyway. I'm totally patting myself on the back right now...

I forgot! Here's my masterpiece, newly knitted and it only took two tries:


I've now made 3 hats. Paul wants me to make him a Jayne (from Firefly) hat. So that's the next project. I'm so proud of myself.

Fine! I will halt my silence for now. But I'm not going to like it.

Marc and I just moved apartments last weekend. Thankfully there hasn't been enough time to accumulate knickknacks so we didn't have to haul that many things. This is the second time in about 6 months that I've moved and I don't want to go through with that any time again soon.

We bought the second-second hand furniture from the people who lived here previously. Unfortunately, some of the tables are pretty bad and we're thinking of just selling them and getting some decent stuff.

Exciting stuff, no?

Anyway, I just wanted to share a really neato site I found on NYMag.com. TheSelby.com features the apartments and workspaces of artists, musicians and other notables. All I can say is that Michael Stipe has an awesome apartment. His boyfriend is kinda cute too.

Okay, now I shall go back to hermitude and read my mystery books.
