Greetings from New Zealand!
I'm back in the land of sheep and more sheep (and Marc). It's thankfully less chilly then when I was here last. The sun rises at an acceptable 6am and sets at a less acceptable 8pm.
Since it's almost summer, the birds are back in droves (of is it flocks?). Last May, I noted to myself how there was a lack of bird sounds in Christchurch despite it being called the Garden City. Now I realize the birds fled to warmer climes in the winter. Although where they went, I don't know because New Zealand is as South as it gets.
Anyway, I have no pictures to post yet. I've just been lounging around at home. Doing nothing and occasionally getting off my ass to cook something. (But only if we got really, really hungry.)
I'm going to be honest and say I'm pretty glad to be away from work. The day I left Joc-Joc Bolante arrived from the US. As I was entering the airport, I saw camera crews setting up, and thanked God I didn't have to be at work that day. I imagined correctly that it was a breaking news day at the office. Those kinds of days can be fun but of course, extremely stressful as well. From the postmortem ANC emails I received, it seems like everyone did a good job and we got ahead of the competition (which is the most important thing for our higher-ups).
I hope Bolante gets what he deserves. And by deserves I don't mean a clean escape and immunity given by Gloria.

The evening before I left, Manolo dragged me to this Nokia launch and I met some of his blogger friends. One of them asked me if I blogged and I said yes. Then he asked what I blogged about. I couldn't answer because all I came up with was "Life" and that is completely unacceptable. So I just shrugged and said "Stuff" which is just above "Life" but not quite as lame.
On another note, that Nokia launch was one of the most terrifying things I have ever been to. Okay, that may be an exaggeration. But painfully loud music and a crowd divided between models and photographers is close to my idea of, not quite hell, but definitely somewhere near it. No one looked like they were having fun except probably the Nokia executives who were glad that their months of planning the event were over.

A special hello goes to my stalkers, namely my friends, who seem to enjoy reading about my "Stuff."

Hmmm I'd probably say "stuff" about my blog too. With a note at the end saying my blog is for "family and friends."
